This new structure will include several design features which will support the research, education, and service missions of this land-grant university. The new facility is to include a 350-seat auditorium, several multimedia IT and distance learning classrooms, separate research and teaching laboratories, and dedicated student project space with separate areas for the program's construction engineering and building sciences studio labs. The facility's student study and learning areas will also include team rooms, study area, and graduate student offices with open common areas.
