Environmental and Water Resources Engineering
Facilities

Our environmental engineering laboratories have recently undergone a major renovation with funding from the Kelly Gene Cook Foundation. These renovations involve more than $150,000 in environmental lab infrastructure upgrades. This photo shows one of our three environmental engineering labs as it was nearing completion. This space will be used to house analytical instrumentation, e.g., gas chromatograph; ICP, AA/AE, and UV/VIS spectrophotometers; and total carbon analyzer. Other applications for this space include bio-engineering studies, microbial analysis and respirometry investigations, clean room conditions, and ultra-low temperature sample storage. Part of the space in this lab was also designed to provide for graduate instruction.
