MSU CEE student group wins grant to expand Zambian water project
An international grant soon will help a Mississippi State student team expand its fresh-water sustainability project in a rural African community. Four students honored with 2014 Spirit of State Award
Four Bagley College of Engineering students received MSU’s premier student award at an April reception. The annual Spirit of State Awards recognize students for their leadership, service and impact at MSU. Winners are selected from a pool of students nominated by MSU faculty, staff, or students.
Civil engineering senior earns national scholarship
A Bagley College of Engineering senior has received a national scholarship from an industry-leading organization. Samantha Frederick, a civil engineering major, will receive the national Brother B. Austin Barry Scholarship from the Chi Epsilon Civil Engineering Honor Society. The $3,500 award is one of 10 national scholarships awarded annually by the organization.
