Doctoral student, John J. Ramirez-Avila was awarded first place in the ASCE EWRI Student Technical Paper Competition for his paper titled, “Suspended Sediment Transport in a Southeastern Plains Watershed. His paper was presented at the EWRI World Congress meeting in Providence, RI in May.
